Nebbi – Alwii road

This road rehabilitation project in Uganda covers 33.25 km plus 4.3 km of Pakwach and Nebbi town roads, with an average lane width of 3.5 m and variable shoulders of 1.5 m. Built to asphalt concrete standards, the alignment runs through flat to rolling terrain. Special features include bus lay-bys in rural and minor towns, parking lanes on both sides in Nebbi Town, and raised pedestrian crossings to enhance safety and accessibility. Fully financed by the Government of Uganda, the project cost is UGX 104,554,875,495 (USD 27,235,704.98 / ETB 1,432,598,082.00), reflecting a major investment in modernizing transport infrastructure and improving mobility in the region.
